Budding criminals invited to City of Villains beta test.
Masters of MMORPG, NCsoft, are inviting players to join the City of Villains Beta while the game is polished by developer Cryptic Studios in time for its release at the end of October.
"We're looking for megalomaniacs, masterminds and even genuine gamers to help us push the servers to capacity in this final run-up to launch," said Stephen Reid, Content and Community Manager, NCsoft Europe. "Plus, It's an excellent opportunity to see City of Villains early, and get in on the hero vs villain action."
As the standalone sequel to City of Heroes, this time around you're given the chance to take on the role of the bad guy in a world just like that of a comic book. Create and customise your very own villain character, engage in combat with arch hero enemies and attempt to take over the world!
