New sci-fi action shooter from Capcom headed to Xbox 360.

On the day of the Japanese Xbox 360 launch on Saturday, 10th December, Japanese developer Capcom and Microsoft announced a brand new sci-fi action shooter for Xbox 360 called Lost Planet: Extreme Condition.

"Set within the merciless frozen tundra of a hostile planet, humans struggle for survival as conflicts arise between man, the surrounding indigenous creatures and the monstrous beings that have invaded. With a gripping single player campaign and numerous multiplayer modes, Lost Planet promises to deliver an intense cinematic gameplay experience when it is released next winter."

Lost Planet promises to take full advantage of the power offered by Microsoft's new console with highly detailed and large world maps. There will also be multiplayer modes so that players can team together and battle against one another on Xbox Live.

Features

- Xbox Live enabled - Experience an array of gameplay possibilities with online cooperative battles.

- Vehicle based gameplay - Jump in and out of a variety of heavily armed vehicles not only to help players traverse the treacherous terrain, but eliminate the terrifying enemies that threaten their survival.

- Vast arctic environments - Snowstorms, arctic winds, towering mountains of ice are all stunningly realized, creating a truly immersive and cinematic event of epic proportions.

- A premier team of developers - The creators of the Onimusha and Devil May Cry series have come together to create the expansive world of Lost Planet.
